More than sixty volunteers turned out for a coordinated clean-up drive along the riverbank and surrounding barangay roads this month, part of a growing calendar of hands-on community activities organised by local chapters.
Teams worked in shifts through the morning, clearing waterways and collecting recyclables for proper disposal. Organisers say the turnout reflects the kind of grassroots participation the movement was built around.
Chapters in two neighbouring barangays have already asked to run similar drives next quarter.
